Trailer sidewall repair

In this project, the customer needed to repair and reinforce the sidewalls of a dump trailer he uses for clearing debris from the worksite.

The original trailer design was not well suited to the task, as the sidewalls were too weak to support the load placed in the trailer.
The customer and I worked together to find a repair and reinforcment plan that would work, and fit within his budget.

Here are several photos of the completed work. All the steel that is primer red was added to the trailer. The customer had very specific requirements with regard to keeping the tailgate operational and not blocking access to the open top of the trailer in any way.

Total Repair Time: 3 days
